Open all-day school

All five primary schools in Beckum offer extensive extracurricular activities in cooperation with the respective provider as part of the open all-day school (OGS) as well as reliable care until 4:00 pm for primary school children.

Die Mütterzentrum Soziales Netzwerk gGmbH ist die Trägerin der OGS an der Martinschule, Sonnenschule, Friedrich-von-Bodelschwingh-Schule und Roncallischule. Für die Grundschule an den Kastanien ist der DRK-Kreisverband Warendorf-Beckum e.V. der Träger.

The OGS programme is voluntary. Registration is made in writing for the duration of primary school. The number of places available is limited. There is no legal entitlement.

After admission, the child is obliged to attend OGS at least until 15:00 on every school day.

Bei Bedarf bieten die Träger eine Betreuung vor 08:00 Uhr (Frühe Betreuung) und an unterrichtsfreien Schultagen an.

During the Easter and autumn holidays and for three weeks in the summer holidays, children can also take part in the OGS programme.

Cancellations must be made in writing by the end of the school year (31 July). In the current school year, cancellation is possible in justified exceptional cases.

The town of Beckum charges a public-law parental contribution for attendance at the OGS. The monthly contribution amount is based on the financial capacity of the person liable to pay the contribution. The amount of the parental contribution is set out in Annex 2 of the statutes of the City of Beckum on the levying of parental contributions
for the use of child day care.
