Attract skilled labour and workers: Knowing how!

The Mayor of Ennigerloh, Berthold Lülf, and the Managing Director of Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft des Kreises Warendorf mbH, Frank Hengstermann, welcomed the participants. Hengstermann then offered a comprehensive insight into the company, including a tour of the plant.

Wide range of presentations
Benjamin Stein-Hartmann from the Ennigerloh job centre kicked off the presentations. He spoke about funding opportunities offered by the Warendorf district job centre and gave all participants a comprehensive overview.

Sebastian Tigges from the Migration Competence Team of the Warendorf District Job Centre, which is responsible for the integration of Ukrainians, among other things, then provided information on the options that companies can use to integrate migrants into the company.

Melanie Lücke from the Employment Agency in Beckum provided the audience with comprehensive information on employment promotion. One offer stood out in particular: In this new format, companies can "sit down at the same table" digitally with the employment agency and the foreigners' office of the district of Warendorf to receive quick help with employing foreign workers. This hybrid counselling service was particularly well received by the participants.

In the fourth presentation, Jessica Witt from Münsterland e. V. reported on funding opportunities and support services offered by Münsterland e. V. This organisation promotes the region and offers support for the onboarding of national and international skilled workers and employees in companies in the region.

The series of lectures was rounded off by Sandra Gründel's presentation on structured onboarding at the waste management company of the district of Warendorf. She presented the attendees with a typical welcome gift from Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft des Kreis Warendorf mbH.

Over the course of the year, the kick-off event will be followed by four further digital coffee breaks lasting around one hour on the topic of "skilled labour". Manuela Jakobs-Woltering, business development officer for the town of Beckum, explained this at the end of the event. Dates and details will be announced in the event calendar for companies on this website.
