Beer tent sets for clubs in Neubeckum

At the end of the year, Neubeckum town centre management invited guests to a small drink in front of the Neubeckum leisure centre. The final disposal fund project of the year was inaugurated with non-alcoholic mulled punch.

Thanks to a generous donation from Volksbank eG, the Heimatverein Neubeckum has purchased 10 beer tent sets for Neubeckum, with the other half being financed from the disposal fund. The sets are to be available free of charge to all tradespeople, clubs, institutions and other stakeholders for events in public or publicly accessible areas in Neubeckum. Uwe Mischke, manager of the Neubeckum leisure centre, will organise the loan. The sets are also stored in the leisure centre.

"Neubeckum" for sitting
The cosy lunch on one of the new seats was used to talk about the past year and what is to come. Everyone agreed: the Neubeckum network is fun! The colourful planters are shining, many facades are already gleaming, and everyone is looking forward to the implementation of the "Neubeckum zum Sitzen" design as lettering and to building their own benches next year. And new ideas and applications for the fund have already been considered.

"The drink was a small thank you to the many committed people in Neubeckum," said Serena Große-Kreul and Annika Siebert from the town centre management team. "We wish everyone happy holidays and will see you again in the new year."
