Hiking in the Beckum cement district

For hiking and Nordic walking, the Beckum cement district offers attractive routes for young and old, beginners and professionals. A dense network of hiking, cycling and farm tracks makes Beckum a special attraction. In addition, there are countless field paths, the so-called "Pättkes".

Get to know the unique cultural landscape of the Beckum cement district on foot. On the way, you will experience the charming Münsterland park landscape with numerous forests, meadows and cornfields and the gentle hilly landscape of the Beckum mountains. These make for a particularly varied hiking experience. After all, the Beckumer Berge tower over the otherwise rather flat neighbouring areas by about 170 metres. This is a rarity in the largely flat Münsterland. Lookout towers and viewpoints provide insights into the impressive landscape.
