800 years of Beckum - a city in transition
Anniversary exhibition starts on Sunday
The exhibition shows the history of our city, sometimes with a precise historical view, sometimes with a deliberately affectionate and nostalgic retrospective, but always with a sense of the significant changes in urban life.
Where do we come from and where are we today? What makes this place worth living and loving?
The 8 museum rooms on the first floor explore these questions in 8 themed areas. They show excerpts from the heyday as well as the bitter years, normal everyday life as well as highlights in private, professional and social life.
The exhibition will be officially opened on Sunday, 14 April at 11 a.m. and will be on display until 27 October. As always, admission is free!
