Photo competition on the city terraces

Take pictures, win, enjoy ice cream

It's time for sun, ice cream and fun, preferably on one of the city terraces in Neubeckum, which will be open until 11 June. That's why the town centre management team and the two ice cream parlours in Neubeckum are calling for a photo competition.

    • Marcia Anita Dossantos, an employee at the San Marco ice cream parlour, and Mirco Galante from the Galante ice cream parlour are looking forward to the sunshine and the photo competition.

    The beautiful weather arrives just in time for the start of May. The best place to enjoy it is on one of the town terraces in Neubeckum, which are located in the main street, on the town hall square and at the railway station.

    That's why the town centre management team and the two ice cream parlours in Neubeckum are calling for a photo competition. There are a total of 10 vouchers worth 10 euros each to be won, donated by the two ice cream parlours Galante and San Marco. The winners will be chosen in 5 categories: the most imaginative photo, the funniest photo, the most beautiful photo, the photo with the most people on the town centre terrace, the photo with the most unusual use of the town centre terrace.

    The team is very much looking forward to viewing the photos. Photographers should send their Stadtterassen pictures (only one photo per person) by 14 June, 23:59 by email to neubeckum@stadtraumkonzept.de.

    A jury consisting of representatives from institutions in Neubeckum will select the 10 winning photos. The winners will be notified by email and announced in print and digital media. All information about the competition can be found at Neubeckum town centre management.

    City terraces

    The city terraces are rental furniture that the Future Mobility Network makes available to local authorities free of charge to actively discuss transport issues. They are mainly located in car parks. Until 24 June, everyone can rate whether they look good on Neubeckum's main street on the NRW participation platform:
