Parental contributions not yet increased

The result: the dynamic adjustment of parental contributions for daycare centres and open all-day care will no longer apply for the 2023/24 contribution year, meaning that parental contributions will remain at their current level from 1 August. This was the majority decision of the city council at its last meeting.

The parental contribution statutes for the 2022/23 daycare and school year were revised together with the parliamentary groups and resulted in relief for many families with low and medium incomes. The regulation also stipulated that the energy price allowance would not be counted towards income, which would have run counter to the relief. The suspension of the dynamisation of contributions will provide further relief for all families.
